Since all of us are now living in the information age, it would make lots of sense if we equip ourselves with the know-how on how to tap into undoubtedly, the world's greatest commodity- the Internet- which Allen suggested as an area of wealth creation.

Doing a quick search on the Google search engine reveals that as of this writing, there are 1,733,993,741 internet users worldwide. What an astounding number, 1.73 billion people!

My gut feeling tells me that if you are still not riding on the internet wave (or should I say, tsunami) and building yourself an income stream out of it, you're losing out to many others who have successfully carved out a niche with an online business. In fact, one that is rolling in enormous paychecks month after month, like clockwork. Many have gone in and have never looked back on their taxing 8-5 day jobs. For those who took the leap of faith and jumped right in (and they number in the millions), I salute you for being adventurous and brave.

However, it is also not that a rosy picture for all people as many I know have tried their hand and failed. You may ask, "So what is the missing link?"

Being a newbie internet marketer before, I understand that as with any business, both online and offline, hard work is essential. But there is another crucial factor that many overlook and that is community; having people around to share their experience and to guide you through the digital playground will definitely shorten your learning curve. It is never easy doing this alone but I'm thankful to people who have crossed paths with me and lent me a helping hand along the way.

Last but not least, I can't stress enough the importance of having a system in place so that you can replicate the results of the many successful internet marketers who have gone before you. A person without a proven system may work hard and still get results, but not many I would say. If you were an army general, you wouldn't want to enter a war without knowing what battle formation to adopt. Likewise, finding yourself a proven SYSTEM of doing business on the internet will maximize your chances for success.
